Last week we had to make the impossible decision to put Henri down. He quite quickly became extremely ill with what was suspected to be kidney failure and the initial treatments and long term care was both invasive and expensive. Henri was a funny cat and didn't like very many people but we loved him and he loved us, especially Oscar. It's amazing the hole that pets leave in our lives that we didn't realize they filled until they are gone, we can only hope that he was happy and that he knew we loved him very very dearly.
